My girlfriend asked me about mine about 9 months into the relationship and i felt that was smart of her......I wouldn't have been comfortable if she had asked me before and i probably would have lied because i wouldn't have known her so well then....So i think it is better you ask the person after a few months.....

It is not healthy to ask about your partner's sexual past/experience anytime in a relationship. Past is always past and recalling it may hurt anyone. If you understand each other's feelings just try to respect it.
However, if you are a curious mouse than try to take it out jokingly when both of you are in lighter mood. Observe your partner's reaction and you will get the signal (if you are matured enough) whether this matter can be progressed into the serious talk or not.

In my opinion you should be asking about your partners past sexual experiences before you ever start having sex with them! That would be the smart and healthy thing to do. You do not want to catch anything.

About 3 to 6 months.....and certainly before you have sex with them.....in an age where STD's and other such sexually transmitted diseases are rife, you need to know your partners history regarding sexual partners immeadiately....unfortunatley this doesnt always happen.

if your both 25 you should be able to right from the start most of all because of all the things you can get from one anther like AIDS

honesty is a good thing in any relationship (be it sexual or otherwise). start being open from the very beginning - before you think about having sex.

i guess you could ask about a month or so into a realtionship to be sure you're not offending them - at least you have a bit of stability in the relationship then.
