ive been doing alot of research on this procedure, and also went into a local place for a free consultation, but im still not convinced. Im only 22 and my vision gets worse and worse by the year, i dont want to end up like my dad (old school thick glasses) where its too late for him to have anything done. WHen they went in they said its a good idea to have it done, because lastyear i couldnt see far away, at all, now i cant see far away or close up, and my job revolves around a computer 9 hours a day, and i can only wear glasses to drive. Im really weirded out about being able to see everything and even though i was told it was painless im afraid ill end up having pain (novacain doesnt work on me). Just want to get some opinions from a few people who have had it done before. How it worked, if there were any problems and any other information you could offer...Thanks!

It is painless, it is wonderful.

I had my first corrective ssurgery when I was 58 and had a more updated surgery on my left eye, when I was 60. This is one thing to remember, these procedures become better and better. The first surgery I had done was laser, the second was with "sound waves". It is expensive, but definetely worth it, especially if you are young as you are. You save lots of money over the years that you would have spent on contact lenses, glasess, etc., and it so great not to have to wear glasses. I had one eye for distance and one for up close. The first surgery was great, no pain whatsoever, left the office "seeing", later left eye was done again. It held for several years, then new surgery became available that made this eye even better.

Don't let multiple times scare you--just make sure you get a really good doctor.........

First Of All Please Consult a Eye Doctor.

There is soo many treatment to cure it.

I will suggest you for Lasik Laser Surgery for correct your power of vision. At the age of 22 you can do this laser surgery.

In laser surgery there is no pain or blood. It is just a 20 - 30 minutes work. and then u can lead a normal life within 1 week.
I am also done this surgery at my age of 21 to cure my short sight and for avoiding the Glass.

I have not had it done, cost too much for me,
but if I had the $ I would get it done

I know a few people who have had it done & only one of
them had to go back due to a minor problem
just be sure to go to someone who is WELL known &
not someone who is doing it for a low cost just to make
some fast money

best of luck !
