Most men want to have as many women they can get. They can get excited by many at the same time and want many at the same time.
How can a woman know that a man really wants her more specially than others? How can she know he's serious about her and not just one to be added to the collection?

Honestly, this is a tough question to answer because I truly believe that men and women have totally different meanings and feelings about love. Men are generally visual creatures in that we fall "in lust" with their eyes, first. If she looks good we want to meet her and get to know her. After this initial meeting we can determine whether there is any "chemistry" between us. If we deem her "better" than most (compared to other girls we know), we decide to form a relationship with her. Usually by this time she may've fallen in real love with him and he may not have the same feelings for her. That's usually where the problems start. She's claimed him as "her man" and he feels that he's still free to pursue his desire.

But to answer your question more directly, we can fall in love...though on rare occasions. We know we're "in love" when she's the first thing we think about when we wake up in the morning and can't wait to see her or talk to her and/or be with her.

The major difference is that we don't usually think long term...like marriage, children and a house as soon in the "relationship" as women do. When the woman starts planning our future together before asking us, that's what usually runs the guy off. We feel trapped.

he usually cant go a full day without her....or at least hearing her voice. He will look deeply into her eyes when they meet, and a connection will be made, without speaking, more often than not a man wants a woman that will get involved with his day to day life, if she is willing and able to help, him wherever she can, he then knows that she is dependable and will rely on her for other aspects as well. When man is deeply in love, he will quite often not have a sexual connection to the woman to begin with, it will start with a deep mental and intellectual relationship, and more often than not will extend from a long time friendship, than has proven the test of time.
