You should never be with somebody who is going out with somebody else in a serious relationship. They say 'all is fair in love and war' but that's rubbish. You don't know what it'll do to the other boyfriend, he could attack you, kill himself, who knows? Do you want to be responsible for causing another person to fall into serious depression? If you and her want to be together then you should insist she greak up with the other guy in as nice a way as possible, otherwise she's just playing the field and who knows? Maybe she's seeing somebody else behind your back too!

The question is do you want a G/F if it doesn't matter to you then don't ask. It will come out any way in conversation and it will come off as presurring the girl...so why bother.

How about 'respecting' that she 'has a relationship'...!
If you get into a relationship with her, then do you 'care' about whether another guy gives the same courtesy?

depends on how serious the boyfriend is. if it is, the 3rd party usually gets the short end of the stick. if it is a casual relationship and fairly new, go for it.
