i have done the same thing before, just wash your hair everyday with lots of head and shoulders as it strips the colour from your hair gently. if you go to a salon they may strip the colour with chemicals and its not good for your hair so just try to do it gently but make sure you use a good leave in conditioner. after a few days you colour wont be so harsh and will propbably be the colour you wanted in the first place.

Try to pour some vinegar on your hair and go sit in the sun. Or normal dishwashing liquid usually works too.

wash your hair out with a clarifying shampoo several times. then find a color that is a bit lighter then what you were going for a recolor it. it should come out how you wanted then.
I did this with red once and my hair had turn a burgundy and was almost purple i washed it about four times with the shampoo and then i colored it again, it worked

get a new haircut and it'll look better. one of classmates is white and has fair skin, and she dyed her hair black. her hair's shoulder length and it curves in a little bit... looks pretty good.
if you just HAVE to change its color, go to a professional or do it yourself. If you do it yourself, use a color a few shades lighter than your target color. for ex: you have black hair, you want brown hair = use light brown or blonde.
good luck!
PS: think twice before dyeing it black if you're not asian and have pale skin!! you wouldn't want to look like michael jackson... ^^

first of all, before coloring your hair, you must first determined what color you want to go with. If your natural color is black (checking nat. color from back of your head) and you want to go lighter pick 2 shades lighter than your natural color, depending if your hair has been colored before or not. if your hair turned out too dark, its really easy to do a color correction, you can do it the same day you colored your hair, (black hair to med brown)...mix natural blond color with dark brown..half and half, w/ 20 vol. peroxide mix well apply to roots first, then to ends..roots developes slower bec. hair is virgin. leave on for 30 min. wash with warm water, blow dry spray serum when dry...I'm a hair stylist for over 8 years. it works. good luck....remember, when coloring your hair, always choice 2 tones lighter than your reg hair to achieve desire colors, don';t be afraid to mix colors, 3 to 4 diff. colors is ok, play with it, always use 20 vol. no one will ever be able to copy your hair color even if they tried.
