What happens to Muslims when they enter Paradise?

Question

This is a serious question. I am curious and would like to know. We are being told in our media about suicide bombers being promised all sorts of things as they will be seen as martyrs and end up in Paradise. Could someone who is Muslim explain just what is the accepted understanding in Islam as to what happens to you when you die. The virgin thing does confuse me. Is this an accepted belief? If the new member of Paradise has sex with one of them, does a new virgin pop up to keep the number at 40? What happens to the woman that has just lost her virginity? Is this just casual sex on a massive scale?) Can good Muslim women expect 40 male virgins when they get to Paradise or is this a male only thing?

Wa wa, I was disappointed by your response as you seem to be suggesting that no one should ever ask questions about Islam. I apologise if you think I was talking 'lowly' of Islam. Insha'allah if a Muslim reaches al jannah, paradise, he or she would be united with their family if they too reached it. They would have there what they wished in terms of comforts and any ill feeling between people would be removed. There are different levels in al jannah, according to your deeds, but no-one would be disappointed in fact he would think that there is no-one who had been given more than him. The Prophet alayhi salaata was salaam said even a tiny space in al jannah is better than the world and all which is in it. There is a hadith which reports that those who enter jannah would have hour al ayn, (two), which are the women of paradise, i don't know if this is for everyone, Allah knows best. The wife of the man would be the queen of her husband's houri. Jibreel (Gabriel) alayhi salaam once told the Prophet to give glad tidings to his wife Khadija radi allahu anha of a house in jannah were there would be no more toil and noise. No man of normal mind believe in such a meterial paradise. Where is such paradise in this vast and empty universe?!
More than 1300 years ago people could not understand the bliss in the soul of a true believer and more glorious rewards in the spiritual world, so historians of those days imagine the pleasures of kings or of people richer than kings. They could not understand even the mental bliss of a philosopher.
Now we can understand more clearly spiritual matters and spiritual rewards, we don't need to waste time in analysing those lowly imaginary things of primitive men .

Good question - I hope many answer you. I am not muslim but many muslims have said that their religion preaches peace. Well obviously some of their preachers are preaching the opposite which of course they don't practice themselves because they know it's a sin to kill people, and once you've done that, there can be no heaven, garden of eden, nothing. FIRSTLY THE QURAN STATES THAT SUICIDE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND PARADISE IS NO WAY A REWARD FOR TAKING LIFE. WE DO NOT GIVE LIFE SO HAVE NO RIGHT TO TAKE LIFE. Well, people in Paradise live forever. That life is far better than this one. There are all kinds of pleasures there, pleasures that we are familiar with and those which we are not familiar with.
God says in the Quran that people cant even imagine the pleasures of heaven, no matter how vast their imagination is.
