I am going thru so much pain I just want it to end, I don't want to die but I'm scared I'm gonna do something stupid! I'm getting help- medical help- but all I need is a friend and an encouraging friend. I'm sick of feeling this way!

I'm very willing to be your friend ! I actually tried to take my own life 5 yrs. ago . DIDN'T WORK ., and I took close to 200 pills encluding antidepression meds. , blood presser pills , and sleeping pills . I spent 5 days in a coma . When I came out I knew GOD had saved my life for a reason . All of the Doctors had said that even if I lived I would be no good to any one . They were wrong PLEASE don't do anything STUPID . You might not be so lucky ! I thought that my pain was so bad that there was no other way. Perhaps GOD saved me so I would be here for you .

the past 3 yrs. None the less I am truely GREATFUL to be alive!

I agree that you could use a good therapist.
I also think that, if you need a friend like that, you might look for a good support forum with people that make you feel comfortable, specifically for Deppression. You may try beatingthebeast.com, or if that doesn't work for you there are many, many more all over the place and they are pretty easy to find through Google.

I noticed in another answer you gave that you said that you once believed in that Jesus was in your heart but now you were not so sure. I promise you, Jesus has told us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. He is there, waiting, and he is watching over you as well. What you need is a qualified therapist that you can talk to regularly they will help you to build up your self confidence and self esteem therefore aiding you to make new friends properly.
