In Your heart of hearts do you ever doubt that you are descendants from primates and single celled organism blobs?
Do you ever doubt that the universe with all the intricate structure from eco systems to galaxies happened by chance. look at the relatively perfect geometric structures of planets. by chance? have you ever wondered how that the atmosphere on earth out myriads of other planets is the only one known to sustain human life, and if the atmospheric make up is ever slightly changed we would all die.
How can you explain how if the Earth was positioned in orbit just a little bit different that the Earth would be un inhabitable. GOD HAD TO DO IT, HE THOUGHT OF YOU WHEN HE MADE IT, IT IS OBVIOUS, IF YOU REALLY PAY ATTENTION. Give serious thought, instead of cynical remarks. Your soul, your peace and a relationship with God depend on it .For the record true followers of Christ are not intolerant, self-righteous, closed minded bigots as many have slandered, ..they love

The people of Columbus’s time believed the Earth was flat, but it isn’t. people can be wrong, and you are a person.
Evolution is false and the idea of Atheism a lie.
It is believed Columbus discovered Earth was round by these verses
Isaiah 40
22. It is he that sitteth upon the CIRCLE of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
And that the Gospel was to be “preached to the whole world” so he voyaged

to young108west can you give me infalibe evidence of evolution? the bible says truth makes you free. I know his word is true, because he has set me free from sin and a life of sorrow. that I will never be able to explain. Think with your heart. "Seek and you shall find" you can know the God that Loves you

No, I never doubt that I descended from a primate, and further back than that, from a unicellular speck of jelly. Some would say in fact that I haven't come that far from my origins, but that's for them to worry about. The conceit that mankind was uniquely created is based on the egocentric idea that man is ultimately distinct and special. He is not. He shares a frankly depressing amount of DNA with the Earthworm, and significantly more with the higher primates. It might be depressing that we share so many genetic characteristics with an earthworm, but it's a fact. To advance the idea that simply because it's a distasteful truth it can't be true, and that mankind must therefore have been uniquely created, is the hight of illogicality.
No, I don't doubt that the universe's 'intricate structure' came about by chance. It only looks intricate and perfect to us because we (a) have nothing to compare it to, and (b) have evolved to appreciate patterns, and therefore become adept at seing them both when they are and when they aren't in fact there. Look at astrology - the constellation Pisces is not a giant mapping-out of connected stars that look like a pair of fish. The stars are millions of miles apart, and have no significant connection in FACT. Nevertheless, from where we sit in relation to those stars, we recognise them and give them a shape that is familiar to us - the fish.
This is the same process that occurs when people argue that just because we exist on a planet with an atmosphere we can breathe, it must have been created especially for us. As I've mentioned before, this is akin to a puddle believing the hole it fills must have been created by a god especially for it, because it fits so well. It's an exercise in vanity, and again assumes the unique creation of man as a "special" creature, which he is not.
Yes, I've given some thought to the fact that atmospheric change could end up making us extinct, but that simply inspires me to campaign for change on emissions, it does not under any circumstances prove that God set the world up for us.
And on your final point, you're absolutely right. True followers of Christ are by no means ALL intolerant, self-righteous, closed-minded bigots, and I would defend that premise with my last breath. There are merely intolerant, self-righteous, closed-minded bigots AMONG their number, as there are in every given subset of humanity. There are fools and there are wise people everywhere, all thrown together on the planet. The challenge is finding a way they can all get along together.
Peace be with you.

I'm an atheist and I have no doubt about the evolution. It makes a lot of sense and has a lot of evidence to back it up. It did not all happen "by chance". There are scientific explanations for those things, but they're far too complicated to list them all and explain here.

Just a thought to evolutionists. Provide me with an intermediate fossil for anything.
Birds evolved from reptiles. Please show me a fossil of a reptile who ran around with worthless limbs for millions of years before they evolved into wings and could finally be used.
Those who say Archeopteryx; Only 6 have been found, (some are just a few bones) only 2 are next to wholly intact. It is a bird. and all 6 were found in one cave. Its feathers are as advanced as many modern birds.
Bird fossils have been found further down then these also, according to scientists birds have been around 40 million years before this species existed.
In your heart of hearts if you really want the question of creation debunked, look at the creationist articles and find the evidence to debunk them yourself.

Prove it...
There is a myriad of proof for the way that I believe (evolution and natural selection). All you have is a book that was written hundreds of years after the fact.
How about this...I would like you to write a detailed and historically accurate account of your ancestors that live 400 years ago. Make sure that you don't make any mistakes or take creative license...it has to be ACCURATE. You can have all the divine inspiration you want too...

Yes, I SERIOUSLY doubt that "God" made all for if "he" did "he" is truly an just and hateful "God" or how else could you explain pedophiles, rapists, and other very nasty people and situations? My soul and my peace are MINE and depend solely on ME. And you are right, Christ's followers are not intolerant, self-righteous, close minded bigots...unless of course you don't agree with them.

i dont see why evolving from apes is such a big deal. we evolved to be less hairy, standing upright, and to reason and think more efficiently. it not that hard to accept, in my opinion
