I started dating a british guy since April, so now, it's a long distance relationship....we said we are gonna make it work, thats kinda our common ground..we sms eachother about 17 times a day and we talk on msn for hours nearly everyday, i will tell him when i have free time and he will show up on time, i am 16 and he's 18. we both use myspace, but i found out, he commented on other gilrs pictures and telling them they look so beautiful etc before we met and after we got together he still did that, but now he does that less time, when i kinda argue about this with him, he'd tell me thats nothing and i am always the best one and the most beautiful girl so he's with me. when my boyfriend tells his net friends that they are beautiful and things like that, does he really love me? thanks

Men look at women. They notice if women are beautiful or not.

It's the step of commenting on it that gives me pause. Why he feels the need to do that is strange to me.

I think he can have feelings for you but I would be a bit suspicious of this actions.

Long distance relationships are hard, no matter what anyone says. It will test your trust in the relationship if you have any insecurities. Have you met him in person? You said you met in April but now it is a long distance relationship. I am confused if you met him or not. If you haven't, I would think hard about it. I know that men notice women. You have to have trust or you will continue to have doubts. If he is committed to you, he shouldn't be making new friends if he knows it makes you uncomfortable. Tell him how you feel about his compliments to them. I think it is OK for him to continue to have net friends as long as that is all it is and you are both committed to each other.
