Because they dont know the peril of eating such things.
I think is up to u to Direct them by teaching the laws concerning the eating of meat in Dueteronomy. Go through Moses Books and u'll have a revelation to be shared with ur neighbour.

do you know for sure that its road kill, or is the fact that since you find eating squirrel to be disgusting, that you call it road kill?

as for why they do it, i would think it was because they enjoy the taste of squirrel meat?

Nothing to do with religion at all. Being previously flattened out the animals cook much quicker.

People in the military eat them for survival. I bet they find that yummy :)

yes i agree, except being in austalia we prefer possums. If you run over them a few times, it makes them real tender!
