Right, orcada. If you download and install Mozilla Firefox, you can download add-ons/extensions, one of which is called VideoDownloader. Install that. Go to youtube.com and search for Bird flu parrot. When it's loaded, click on the small symbol (it looks like a list of things with a floppy disk in front of it) at the bottom right of your computer screen. A new dialog box will open. Right click on the tab that presents itself and click 'Save As'. Decide where you wish to save it to on your hard drive. You'll also need to download FLV Player (hyperlinked on the same dialog box).

Go to your hard drive and install FLV Player. Add to the file that you downloaded (the Bird flu parrot one) the extension .flv and double-click on it.

There is a program to convert the file to .avi, .mpg, etc. but you have to pay for it.

I know it works as I've just downloaded the file myself.

If you do experience problems contact me via email, and if you give me your email address I'll send the required files to you as attachments. My computer reports that I'm virus and adware free, but I'd advise that if you receive any attachments you always run your own virus checker, just to be on the safe side.
