Try Thousand Island, that's quite similar.
Some kebab shops / cheap burger bar type places sell big bottles of 'burger sauce' which is the pink stuff - probably more similar to the sauce you get in Wimpy, but could be a close substitute.

I am pregnant and am having to spend a fortune buying Big Macs - I dont want or like the burger - just the cheesey gherkiny dill type 'special' sauce thats on it. Can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere I can buy it or find a (British) recipe so I can make it myself?

Kraft Foods makes a Zesty Burger Sauce which is similar. There is also a website called Top Secret Recipes which has a recipe for a Special Sauce recipe for Big Macs. They say it is very very close to the original

It's close to Thousand Island salad dressing. You can make your own with mayonnaise, ketchup, green pickle relish, sugar, salt and pepper.
