I have been with a girl for three months but it seem that all we do is fight. I have known her for years, but just recently we took it up a notch. We weren't just friends if you know what I mean. She does things that really make me like her a lot, but thats like 20% of the time. I really like her family like i think they like me, but mine is starting not to. She drinks but doesn't really know how to hold her liquer i guess. Am I making her look bad? I guess you have to be with her. I really do like her for no reason except that its hard for me to find somebody. I work late so I can't really go out and meet people. What should I do?

Fighting all the time is not a good sign. I'll tell you how I know - that's exactly what happened to me. I was in a relationship and we fought all the time. This means that the two of you are not in agreement about almost everything and also, that you are not having a good time and enjoying each other's company if everything turns into an argument.

20% is a very small amount of time - it means that 80% (most of the time) you and she are not getting along - not having fun.

Basically, you are saying that you are with this girl because it's easier to be with her than look for someone because you are busy at work.

I have to say that's not a good enough reason to continue the relationship. The relationship is not working, not satisfying, not happy, not enjoyable - so what is there? Absolutely nothing worthwhile and nothing to hold onto.

Make an effort - there must be time when you can try to meet people. Really, think it over, make a decision, and then you will be able to meet someone. I think the working late is just an excuse - an easy way out. It's a cliche, but it's true - where there is a will, there is a way. In other words, if you really want to find a real girlfriend, you will find the time and way to do it. It's up to you. Good luck!

talk to her........ try and get her to stop drinking its not good for her any ways and stick it out with her my bestfriend and i started dating and at first it really seemed like we were doomed and that all we were ever going to do was fight but we talked and i stuck by him and guess what ....... yesterday was our 11 MONTH ANNIVERSARY! so stick it out and talk if you really like her and good things will come out of it iight...... think about it!
