Metallic is referring to the metal flakes in the paint. If you look close at a car with metallic paint you can see the flakes in it. If there is no metallic flakes it can be as shiny and tend to look deeper" than metallic paints. Hope I have been helpful.

depends on the accessories mounted like:
RIms, door handles, side mirrors ... etc

black looks nice with nickles
black metallic or black pearle metallic need no nickle (only blacks)

a non-metallic black color is duller when compared to a metallic black.

Basically a metallic color lends a deeper and richer shine to the black color and it looks more elegant.
