Nope not at all. Not even close. It's stupid those people claim bruce Lee can win but cannot even say how he would win. From what I hear, only thing people talk about is his side kick and wing chun.

Side kick are easy to avoid and counter. So that would work against bruce Lee. Wing Chun aren't know for its effective, so that will not work against the fighter who pulls their punches back quickly instead of leave it lingering for Wing Chun practior to counter.

It's to easy to show off your power on a bag. However in ring it's not that easy.

The question you should be asking is why didn't Bruce fight the current champions at the time he was alive? Today's MMA champs would put Bruce in a hurt locker, no doubt about it. He was fast and strong, that I will admit, but he was not the ultimate martial artist that people make him out to be. Who did he fight other that Jack Man Wong and a few unskilled street punks in Hong Kong? His image is from his movies. Jeet Kune Do is nothing more than bits and pieces of other arts that Bruce collected and called his own.

If you give Bruce the benefit of the training techniques, nutritional supplements, and training equipment of today, I have not doubt he would have been more than able to get the job done. The problem is that you cannot compare todays athletes to those of yerser-years. Imagine Barry Bonds or Albert Puljols playing in the 50's or 60's. Or think of putting someone like Roger Clemens from the 90's back in the 40's. They would be unstoppable. Same goes for Football (american) and basketball. Imagine Lebron James playing in the 50's.

"In his intensive training regime, Bruce Lee focused on the development of his upper body strength, paying particular attention to his abdominal muscles and developing his explosive power. Many observers have commented that Bruce Lee's training during this period of his life would have put an Olympic gymnast to shame! He would regularly perform one finger push-ups, on one hand. He would execute extended V-sits for long periods of time. He could cannonade an opponent several feet back from a punch delivered from only one inch, and his side kicks became so powerful that, in the words of one recipient, "they feel like being hit by a car". Late on in the year Bruce gave a demonstration of his "super human" abilities at the Long Beach Katate Internationals. The audience was mesmerized."

No he couldn't. Every fighter you mentioned would be in a different weight class than Lee anyway. He was probably 5'5'', 130lbs with a soaking wet gee on.
Matching him up against fighters in the same weight class and assuming he would train in take-downs and submissions, he would bank a couple wins.

No,but he would do alot better thanmost think. Bruce was one of the first to explore and espouse what today is called MMA.He trained in western boxing, judo, jiujitsu, etc.I used to blow him off as just a movie tough guy,but then i read Tao of Jeet Kune Do.He was WAY ahead of his time in melding the stand up with the ground game and his understanding of the timing and tactics of a fight are spot on.This guy made unarmed combat his lifelong study and any fighter would do well to study his writings.

Ask Chuck Norris. He beat Lee in a tournament back in the day.
Bruce was the man, but he was not the end all be all.
