Why is it mainly muslims that bomb the rest of the world?

and do they think about all the children that suffer when they get their legs blown off? is it really all about religion? or are they all like "pinky and the brain" wanting world domination?

i see alot of ppl have brought up the ira and other factions, but didn't most of them settle things with talks? so why is it that muslims can't? or don't want to? i agree that they only want control of their own countries but killing all those ppl in 9/11 and 7/7 hasn't helped their cause, did all those innocents deserve to die for something that didn't concern them?

Muslims do seem to be associated with violence at the moment. More than 99% of Muslims do not support this . Contrary to other comments the Koran does not condone violence and not to the People of the Book - Jews and Christians. It does give right of defence of the faith.

Muslims believe in the Umma - The community of Muslims and violence against one is considered in some quarters as violence against all. Violence from extreme Muslims has become prominent recently because of violence against Muslims in Palestine,Afghanistan, Iraq,and more recently in Lebanon.

When a people have no Aircraft, no tanks, no strength against an enemy who kills in thousands as in Iraq and Lebanon then the people use the only means they can - personal violence in protest and revenge.

When 2 journalists are kidnapped they become headline news in the West, when hundreds are killed everyday in the the Middle East they are given a few seconds on the news and forgotten..

What is forgotten, like in the West, people in the other countries too have the same feelings and emotions. The people who are killed have brothers, sons,daughters, fathers and mothers who want revenge like anyone would want to have. All humans have these emotions.

I have put forward the above for understanding and explanation about these horrible events .. Nobody can condone the scale of violence which is taking place from both sides. I ,as a Muslim, condemn this violence against the West as I condemn the violence which is taking place in the Middle East against fellow Muslims often sponsored by the West.

Are you kidding? It's not muslims that are most active in bombing the rest of the world. They just do it in a way that shocks you and in places where you notice it and since the US were attacked they suddenly notice every time a muslim makes a terrorist attack and put it on the news because those are your enemies, but they don't mention any of the other sh!t that happens daily. Read more about the rest of the world and you'll see that there's all kinds of people bombing each other all around the planet.

The people who do bomb each other... no, I doubt they care about the sufferings, or think they are justified "in the name of God" or whatever.

Well ok heres my opinon, the lot em are complete nutters. they go round wearing dressing gowns, the men tell the women they they cant do f**ck all apart from cook and raise kids ( hmmm might not be a bad thing) they fight between thereselves and when when finally they cant pick a fight with another arab state they decide to pick on the bloody public of western countries that really have nowt to do with it......if they wanna blame someone then for gods sake blame tony blair, hes the one that dragged the brits into this and he only did that to look tuff in front bush, and as for bush he just wants to be a carbon copy of his dad, he dad was a reasonable president shame he cant follow in his footsteps, bush will be the one that really drops the US in the sh*t unfortuntly it will backlash onto all of us :(

If you think that it is actually people of the muslim faith in general who comit these acts then i'm afraid you need a good education.
The muslim faith came 500 years after Christ and their holy book is basically our bible part 2.
the same characters appear e.g Adam, Eve , Noah, The Christ etc.
In actual fact the muslim faith is almost a revised Christianity.
To suggest that religious, godly people are terrorists is plain stupid.
Do you really think the **** hole Irish, Orange bigots beleive in God? Do you think the Republican scum are catholic? They are not religious people. simply uneducated, hateful animals.

Well, it isnt mainly muslims.

20 years ago, it was mainly the Irish, and the IRA. Before that, it was Communist insurgents, and Facist sympathisers.

Our 'enemies' are always changing. Their isnt a clear cut reason why, and no its not 'world domination'. Ltes not talk in the terms of Bush here

Muslims mainly kill other Muslims - look at the daily murders in Iraq with Sunni & Shi'ite factions rerunning the old Catholic - Protestant mayhem.

Islamic terrorism is bad, but we (the West) have been messing with their homelands for centuries. I cannot agree with murder for political gain, but I think mostly they want domination of their own countries, not ours.

this is the question where everyone strats fighting. people say why isn't there pieace in the world,forgodsake becz of the same thing if u people stop thinking like this then maybe we will find pieace in then world and if we stop blaming on each other and RELIGION maybe that will halp us. befor saying bad things to muslims or their religion first think about the question u were going to ask.

I'm as the Msuslim.... tells my freinds to find and kill the Al-Qaida and other groups because they are killing innocent, and Allah has said in the Quran that "if you have killed an innocent u have killed the whole humanity."

same as the killing of childeren, aged citizens and women in the ground of war is also prohibited ... Yes if the Al-Qaida want to take the revenge they should by killing the forces not the citizens.....
