How long does it take before you are in boot camp?

It depends on the program that you are getting into and the recruiter you are dealing with. Recruiters receive kudos through meeting quotas. If your recruiter really wants you in, he will find the quickest way possible to get you in. As far as ASVAB, if the recruiter is administering the test then he can give you the results right there. If not, you may have to wait a few weeks. Boot camp is not what people think it is. You dont immediately go, especially if you leave immediately. When you finally arrive, you may be placed in a battalion/battery of inprocessing. There will be Drill sergeants there, but they wont be yelling at you. When you actually start boot camp, you'll know. Thats when hell on earth begins. You can be in the inprocessing phase for weeks, even months before actually attending the real deal.

If you are taking it in High School, the results could take awhile. Up to 3 months.

If you are taking it with a recruiter, ie. a remote site, or MEPS, you will have your score the same day.

You know what... I asked the guy that was sitting in the room I took the test and he told me. So that can probably work for you. But that would be unoficial.
