I do not think it is possible. One needs to learn and gain confidence on his balance before he can operate any of these two-wheeled vehicles. And to start learning on a bicycle instead of a motorbike would be a wiser choice.

I have wanted to ride a motorcycle since I was in my 20's but I didn't know how to ride a bike then. So last year, I learned to ride the bike for the first time at age 35 (it is not as hard as you might think). This year, I had been biking a lot to perfect the skill so that next year or the year after, if I feel ready, I might try learning to ride the motorbike. That way, it would be safe for me and the other motorists.

Perhaps you CAN, but I'm REAL nervous about it. I was a pro bike/messenger/courier for a few years, as well as a taxidriver for 16 yrs. It seemed that my ownership of a motor bike was curtailed by pure FEAR & LOGIC after watching accidents unfold with bikes, motorcycles, cars & trucks! It's good to be a 'thrill seeker' but putting yourself & others at risk without the benefit of knowing how to propell a simple bicycle is not too encouraging for man or beast to feel safe. Please follow up with a comment to assure the readers that you'll engage in a successful program to commandeer a bicycle with skill & accuracy, if even for a 10 day period, before attempting to drive a motorbike! At least MAYBE that way, you MIGHT be alive next season to ask another question!

How do you mean that you can't ride a bicycle? Can you not maintain your balance? If that is the case I would not try a scooter either. You'll just hurt yourself at higher speeds.
If you just mean you never learned to ride a bike then you can learn that with very little effort at your age. You can learn to ride any of the mentioned products. Be safe!

No you can't. The principles are the same. If you can't balance on a bike you won't be able to balance on a scooter.
