Instead of telling her to come back and practically ' ruining ' her life, you should act as the friend that you are !!

Encourage her to keep on studying dentistry.
Her family is doing it, beause they really love her and want her to have a bright future.
Have you ever heard of the saying ' NO PAIN NO GAIN !!'
Well, that's exactly what her situation is.

Remember , try encouraging her and tell her everything is going to be okay in the end. Tell her she won't regret it.
Be a FRIEND !

Good luck :)

Is there a dental school at any of the universities near or around where you live? She could always transfer, I'd think. If she's getting tired of the career option she picked, she really needs to decide that on her own, but talk to her about other interests she has and the options available to pursue those interests where you live.

She could move in with a family in that country,, rent a room from them, then she would be protected when she was at home. and she could talk to them if some guy was bothering her,, the sons would probably take it personaly. PS, I really think this is a good idea, plus she'd have a family to talk to and eat with,, ect.

Running away is never a solution..

Safety, unless she's in a warzone, can be improved with simple measures..
