is it possible to create restore points in win 98. i know there is a feature in win xp. i have create restore points in win xp. but how about win 98??? are there any softwares which can create restore points in win 98??
please help

A point to consider - Win98 is no longer supported by Microsoft, so running it is likely to leave you in a precarious position for help. In addition, you will be vulnerable since there are no new security patches being made available. And, XP would have given you a restore option. If you go to the Microsoft Support page, you will be able to find an article with a process on recovering informaiton from temp files

Restore points were introducted in Windows XP. They can not be done in an earlier versions of Windows. Not aware of anyone having created a program for doing them. As 98 is no longer supported, I doubt anyone ever will. Time to upgrade.
