i got an email informing me that i won a lottery i did not apply for, something like Euro-Afro -American sweepstake lottery and should claim my prize. Am so scared it could be blood money, has anyone ever heard of it? I called one of the # they gave me and a certain gentle man said congratulations u won something like US$ 870,000. Tell me, how possible is it thats is clean money?

You haven't won anything. Most likely they will send a fake money order for the wrong amount. They will ask you to cash it and to return the difference with one of your cheques (which is real).. then you bank will call you to tell you that the money order is fake and you will be out of this money. Or, they will ask you to pay a release fee, and run with your money. Of course it is not real, you need to read up on all the spam out there! I would also contact your local police to ask them what you should do next - since you have contacted them they have your information. Some numbers also force you to pay like $20/minute just for the call and you don't find out until later - BE CAREFUL... If it looks too good to be true IT IS!!

it's a scam l get them all the time even though l never bought a ticket. How could anyone win if they didn't buy a ticket.

Run,girl,run! It's a trick to get your bank account # & then they return the favor by cleaning your account out! I've got several of them but never fell for it!

i go the same thing this morning i didn't claim it cuz it all bull. i never trust those kind of stuff there is always u giving or paying something be4 getting ur price involved somewhere.

Be very careful bout those stuff.

this is BS I've got like a thousands of this kind of e-mails... just delete them and go on and buy a real ticket if u want to win

Scam, they will either try and do identity theft or eventually ask you for credit info or $$$$.

Delete it.

Do you have any warrants, I've heard of the police using things like that to lure criminals so they could apprehend them.

too good to be true i got same thing but who knows if you just give your address and they mail cheque to you as long you don't give them any money up front or credit card number you wil be ok
