something unusual eh... well there are the classics like "From this Moment on" Shania Twain, "I do..(Cherish U)" 98 Degrees. But if u want unusual go for rock ballads "Anything for Love "Meatloaf or "Livin in Sin" Bon Jovi, "More than Words" Extreme, Songs that are slow but have rockin' edge and deeper meaning than the ordinary wedding song. When we got married, it took us 2 months to find the right song. After searching through our CD collection, we finally chose "Glory of Love" by Chicago. Its a very powerful song, and nobody else had thought of it. Another good one is "Always" by Atlantic Starr. Its an older song but with great meaning. If you go back in to the older music ( 70s or 80s genere), you will find many, many great love songs.

Have you ever heard the song entitled, "I Do" by Natalie Cole and Freddie Jackson. It is the perfect wedding song for before, during, or after the event. It is very versatile.

I got married 12th august this year and we used How sweet it is to be loved by you by Marvin Gaye. Slightly faster than traditional ballad but the words are brilliant.
