Never... terrorists are people who have been scarred by war that might have occured when they were young in which they have lost someone they dearly loved and all they want is love and peace...waging wars would only create more hate and more terrorists... which is exactly what the Bush administration is doing...

Got a better idea? I'm not being sarcastic, really... do you have a better alternative?
Ahh, but Silvertpunge... terrorism is not only in the middle east... What about the IRA? or the Tamil Tigers? or countless other groups? granted, all the attention is focused over there now... but if things just quieted down over there... the others would be forced to adjust their focus, would they not? But terrorists never quiet down, and the other groups are smart enough not to draw a large portion of attention their way. They can get away with the smaller stuff because of all the big stuff going on over there.

It can't be!!
What one brands as an illegal act that can be legal for another.
Because terrorists also have some furture vision and interests.
But while terrorists kill, the vision and interests are fogoteen and the aim is to kill. So lot of innocents get killed, as they target unarmed innocents to generate fear.
Warfare will not solve the requirement. War also will not be able to defeat the terorism as the activists are always unaccounted and living in different places and on a call they get united and indulging severe damages to prperty and lives.
Ok, Who pay for their expenses?????
That is Mr. XXXX!!!!!!!!
Catch hold of them and kneel them down!!!
Upto certian extend it will come under control!!

No. Terrorism offers a way better retirement package, and thus is inherently superior to conventional warfare- and it doesn't even cost anything to the society!
A society can only support so many soldiers, but there's no limit to how many Terrorists it can produce.

You have to define the word terrorism before you can consider the operational method to approach it. Very few military political actions have succeeded through out history. The real problem is what is left behind. So the social and political actions behind it have to be addressed.

Why do you people ask the SAME questions OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
Terrorism can NOT be defeated in warfare but in JUSTICE. Give the terrorists JUSTICE, not the justice Bush preaches, but the UNIVERSAL justice we have known and THERE WILL BE NO TERRORISM.

Let's look at facts:
First WTC bombing-US did nothing, followed by Oklahoma, Embassy bombings, USS Cole bombing and 9/11
After 9/11- went to war with terrorism- No terrorist attacks since.
So, by looking at the facts, war does help defeat terrorism.

Yes, it is called covert operations and political assassination of world leaders that support terrorism. I don't think our constitution would allow that.
