There's a lot of my friends, who believe, I know it's all down to faith etc etc, but why believe in something, when you can't see it or feel it?
It's truly not tangible evidence. .
Personally, If there is any form of deity, why is there so much S**t going on in the world?
Have they just f**ked off and said 'we've had enough of the human race. Let them sort it out themselves'
Until I do see some evidence, I have faith in me and my family. I can trust them to help.
I know a lot of people have which every diety they believe in, as that's their only form of hope for themselves.
Your views. And don't have a go at me ..please.., because of my opinion...I'm just curious about other peoples views...

good question and God and Allah are the same one, there is but one.
first of all there are signs for those that 'think', i cannot see the air either but i know its there, i can not see instinct but i know its there etc. there is so much **** in the world as you put it its all down to ppl not God, oh satan has a say too! he governs us well and is doing very well indeed!

you cannot depend upon your family ie, they cannot prevent your death nor what happens to you after you die.

why do so many ppl have the need to worship? those that call themselves athiest worship something football perhaps or pop stars, tv, shopping, gambling maybe? we all every single one of us know there is a God because he told us, only some have forgotten.

I think there is something...but I don't know if we can ever undertsand what. Look at Jews, Christians & Muslims; they are all worshipping basically the same God. Sometimes I think its just like people running similar software which is mostly but not completely compatible.

As for all the horrible sh*t in the world, that is the price we pay for free will as anything we do will affect something, somewhere. that sounds like a lousy answer but it kind of works whether you are religious, agnostic or atheist because it just states the obvious fact that bad stuff is almost always the result of our action or inaction.

As for evidence...you won't get any. Its best not to worry; live right & one day hope that the answers will become clearer.

with the sight of the God, this dirty man will shake. This you can have the experience about the ghosts. If you see a ghost of your ancestors you will start shivering. So, what is the question of seeing the God. God do want himself to be tested. As he has no shape. He has created humans with the dirtiest harmons of male and female. Who is there to make you pure..?? Folloing differnt faiths is not a similar thing. You have to follow the best one, who guides you on your daily matters, property, rule of the country, gave you Rights etc. Or follow the religion which is based on stories with no scientific proofs or any historical facts, just story of a man with his wife and a willian is there with a supportive actor, in the shape of brother. What is there in this story to be unerstand as a religion. Does the kidnapping of a particular males wife proves something or when the wife was resqued prove some special thing, nothing just a story told by our forefaters to the children.

i totally respect and understand that for many people proof is needed .. and so it should be
it is also understandable that in this horrible world .. it is easy to believe we are on our own
if i can put across some of my own thoughts that may help you understand why " I " still have faith

i have had my own personal proof of spirit ... as a medium and as one who has also received readings from those i love who have passed on ... this evidence has been incredible and i cannot dismiss it as fake , cold reading or anything else one would suggest
now i have proof of spirit .. but these spirit also speak of the after life and a god figure .... so from there i have my beliefs .. and for me personally ... they are evidential and factual
i do understand that until someone has had this type of proof for themself that it is hard to conceieve

now why is the world a mess if there is a god ?
for me god is a creator and an observer ... not a powerful being who can step in and take away our free will whenever things get rough
we make the mess in this world and we should clean up our own mess in my opinion

i feel that for too long , god has been portrayed as an all powerful miracle worker ... and that has been gods downfall with non believers

maybe see god a little differently from the one we have been told about and raised to believe in as children ... and maybe everything else will make a little sense also

the book Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsh is an eye opener and i would highly reccomend it

love to you xx

I'm Roman Catholic, I believe in God. I have faith in God and believe that his will is done.

I believe in him because I have felt him in my life. I think once you have had serious illness in your family and a they survive, it gives you faith. But I have faith from the other good things that happen in my life. I believe that sometimes when things don't go as you wanted it is Gods will, he knows whats your path and will lead you the right way.

About 10 years ago, my mother and I were booked on a flight to visit our family. I was young and felt like I would rather spend time with my friends, so the flight was cancelled and we stayed home for Christmas. The day the flight was booked for, my mother called me home and sat me down and told me that the plane we had been booked on had crashed. Everyone had died on the flight, why were we spared, I don't know. I just have faith that Gods will is done.

By the way the story is true, it did happen, give me goosebumps just thinking about it. I'm not a religious nut or anything, just someone that has faith.

But I totally believe in every ones right to believe in God, any God or not to believe that God exists. Its every ones right

I think that the roman and greek deities have more credibility than the christian "god". The best way not to get warped by religion is to look into each one that you can with an open mind. Decide by yourself how much is plausible and how much is B.S.

I take a little from every religion but if I had to say which one I agree with the most, it'd be Wicca

Jehovah sanctified his name when he delivered the Israelites from Pharaoh and his army. He proved he controls nature and his angels obey him, in the judgment work.

He Will sanctify his name again soon.

Our problems are inherited from our first parents, who did not love God or us and chose Satan for their God.

True it seems like a long time, 6,000 years since then, but I assure you God has been busy making progress in order to end this 'mess' once and for all.

The idea for allowing this mess is the challenge of Adam and Eve and Satan...they say, 'We do not need God to have a happy life, we can rule ourselves.'

This will go down in the heavenly court as false, with the 6,000 years of evidence to support it. Any rebellion that erupts after the Kingdom of God is set up, will immediately be squashed, due to the verdict of this case.

Jesus is busy now judging the Christians, which will result in the sign of the Son of man; the great tribulation, the revealing of the Sons of God,... as false Christians are sent to the second death/lake of fire; Matthew 25:41. Luke 12:46.

Then God will truly step up his signs and wonders on the 'Sons of God' for the nations to see, because so many want and need signs, as it is a weakness of mankind to not believe with out seeing, like doubting Thomas, before Armageddon, Acts 2:17-21. Rev.7:14-17.

It is at this moment not to late to pray, and ask God to reveal the truth to you...best wishes..Tina

Because that's what FAITH is- just believing! You said you have faith in your family- it's not scientific, or medical, or etc., fact that you know that they will be there for you, they just will, right? That is what religious faith in God is - not having ALL the answers, but knowing you'll get through it all the same, because you have someone on your side - God. At all times, everywhere, any way.

God and Allah are different names for the same God. Jews call Him Jehovah.
Faith involves believing in something which can't be proved and you don't understand. This is an act of faith.
Like I believe in the Swiss, 'cos after living here for 35 years, I still don't understand them! And I'm not talking about language problems.

It is all about Faith when you sit on a couch you have "faith" to believe it is there before you sit down,it is the same with believing what God says that He is God and Jesus is His Son.
I am not forcing it on you, no one can make anyone believe anything, just try and pray and ask Jesus for the answer
