Does it matter that the guy doesn't have a car, women, on whether you will go out with him or not? I knew a co-worker who said he didn't care that he didn't have a car. Women still thought he was cute, and went out with him on the city bus. I heard someone else tell me she would NEVER, EVER go out with a guy who didn't have a car.

So what's your take, women? Car or no car?

It depends on where you live. If you live in a big sity with goo public transportation having a car is not necessary. So yes, definitely would. Happily did it.

If you live in suburbia, one of the two better have a car. Yeah, it makes it less convenient to alway have to pick him up, but it's manageable and if he's a good guy - why not. Eventually I'd want him to get a car, though.

However, I'll never, never go out with a guy again if he shows me a wallet-size picture of his car. Lol. Unless he's Formula 1 driver, he shouldn't. I find this other end of sprectum a lot more unpleasant.

Bottom line: car is a means of transportation to me. It has no symbolic meaning. Car is too cheap to be a sing of wealth. Having or not having a car is not a reflection on a man.

A big city with oodles of cabs and him not having a car is no bother. Infact if he isn't all that great to keep you interested it gives you far more liberty when he is carless as you can just walk out, stretch a hand and get your own ride. It's more independent then him begging to drive you and trying a re-course. That only forces you to re-think .... unwanted at times becoz your first instinct is always right.

On the other hand, him having a car is nice if he is taking you out to a real fancy place to dine, feels classy to step out of your own vehicle.

Most of all if this is a serious relationship then he'd better have a car as not having one would only mean that he cant afford one. If he cant afford that he cant afford a diamond ring to pop the question either. If you can live without it .... no one can stop you!!!!

If I have a car and he doesn't have a car he had better have something that proves to me that he has achieved something in life that proves that his maturity level is up to par with mine like his own house or something. It is not about the car a car doesn't make a person but sometimes material things do show what you are willing to work for and what you have already achieved. I need someone who wants something out of life.

I would go out with anyone I have feelings for. Car or no car wouldn't make a difference. Don't listen to anything else. Love is what matters not possesions.

In that case women shud be dating cars instead of the person, intelligent woman look to the heart and whats inside not materialistic worth, as that fades with time .

Depends on the location of said man. In the city where you don't need a car is fine but in the burbs you have to have wheels.

I've never had a boyfriend who HAD a car! I don't think it matters at all. Girls who think that kind of stuff is important are probably just shallow so you don't want to date them anyway!

If I liked him I would drive no problem. Lots of reasons a nice guy may not have a car. It doesn't mean he'd always not have one.

I prefer car, and I don't do bus dates, but as long as he also isn't living with his mommy, I guess I can drive.
