i think if they weaken or kill insects like mosquitoes, maybe they act on ants, flies and other insects too

No they don't kill ants but yes they have a effect on flies after which they feel drowzsy and feel like they hav used drugs anyway then u can swap them!

in fact As the name suggests the repeller never KILL.
cannot kill ants.

I've killed ants with kitchen surface spray. Anything on them will kill them. But if you want to prevent them comming in or to send them away use baby/talcom powder. If you see a trail of ants in your house lightly dust them with the powder and they will hurry back to their nest. If you want to stop them comming in from out side sprinkle the powder with black pepper in it in front of your door and window ledges.

tea tree oil will repeal mosquitoes and if you can put a drop of it on a ant it will kill it.
Plus its safe to use
