Man follows the Law of the Land, and the,
"Ten Commandments" is a good guide to live by.

[Mat 22:37] He said to him, "You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.
[Mat 22:38] This is the greatest and the first commandment.
[Mat 22:39] The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
[Mat 22:40] The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments."
No other laws are necessary if one obeys these two.

You can find everything in the Bible to lead a good life, when in trouble what to do, how to treat others, how to know the truth in everything, how to descern about good and evil, how to protect yourself from all evil, how to get out of trouble etc. Kindly refer a Bible for that.

The rules on owning sex (and regular) slaves are particularly morbid...
