as you crossed 40 years, it is always better to consult your doctor. you can conceive as you have not reached the stage of menopause.

It sounds like you should be making an appointment to see an OB/GYN,,, It is not uncommon for the cycles to go kinds coo-koo for a while after stopping them. Different women have different experiences. A good idea is to find out if you might be pregnant already. However due to your age, it is in your best interest to go see the Doc, or even a Specialist. Don't wait. Have Hope, and never give up.

Wow, talk to your doctor asap. You don't have any time to kill. Depending on your overall health, you may or may not be advised to have a baby at this point in your life. Many women will begin menopause around your age, so you will want to make sure you are not having signs of beginning menapause already.

43 is not a good age to conceive. Too many things can go wrong. Also, didn't you know that when you ovulate that particular egg is no longer viable?

you need to be checked once in a while about the condition of your ovary on why it stopped ovulation especially your using contraceptives... contraceptives of course stops ovulation and have some adverse effects so you must also read the labels....
but please refer to a physician for further elaboration about your problem.
