we have movies about life of the prophet they are very nice but they never shows Muhammad the difficult point is not the subject of the movie the problem is that a nonmuslim person (mostly not deliberetely) has lived his/her whole life in an atmosphere that orientalist form, such as ideas, information, movies... so it is quite difficult for them to get rid of this massy background and to form a movie having no biasses The basic rule I think respect, to ask what Muslims perceive as humiliation GOOD INTENT AND RESPECT IS ESSENTIAL All the best : ) visz lat!

In fact, documentaries were made of prophet Muhammad. However, they DO NOT display a character in his position, instead they use just the story. On the other hand, there is a cartoons made for kids to educate them about Muhammad and Islam, and THEY DO SHOW a cartoon character BUT not his FACE. This is to respect the prophet's real identity and not mimic him.

who's the authority? I really think all religions have made there own bed and for islamics or Muslims to venture outside is punishable by death whether real or fundimental terorists who have taken excerps out of context in some places ....this is very much akin to the early catholic church that oft times condenmed laity for blasphemy and other indiscretions....I really wish people could be morally revised in an unconfused way and live like john lennon's "Imagine"

I take it you don't watch the news - there was a massive controversy because a Danish newspaper (then many other newspapers) publishging cartoons depicting Mohammed. You should know that Muslims consider it sacrilegious to create images of Mohammed... Flattering or otherwise.

If it was not filled with lies and biased opinions from a non-Muslims perspective. I think Muslims would have to be consulted on the validity of the information being presented. then i believe many would watch it. but that is a sensitive idea.
