christians: according to Jim W, fundamentalists are arrogant horrible people?

my own complaint about them is that they don't like the way i look! and their ideas are extremely unfair! and disheartening!


i experience God's love through art, music, fashion, and style! and i have sincere love for glam rock, new wave, art-rock, and gothic, and japanese animation! i happen to look like those pretty anime boys in the Shojo magazines, Sailor Moon, or Final Fantasy! i was thinking God, all of his angels, and heaven will be that brighter than our imaginations! like U2 i have equal for Christ and role models!

Most all religious cults need to sit down, shut up, and look at pictures of our universe! They only think they know of the ALMIGHTIES power! They need to get a clue and get out of their stone aged beliefs! Religion is nothing but a hinderance to the betterment of mankind! The ALMIGHTY is far more powerful than they could possibly conceive!!!!!!!!! If the ALMIGHTY chose to take 300 billion years to create then so be it! Who is man to judge GOD!!!!!!!!

Those fundamentalists are fools...especially the more rabid and intolerant ones (the ones espousing literal creationism, white power and other dumb ideas). These people do not get the true meaning of God's word, only the one that has been set on their brains by even less thinking and even more stupid religious preachers. Not all fundamentalists are as evil as the above-mentioned religious preachers (example: Pat Robertson)...but the most idiotic (and coincidentallty outspoken) of them are in no way the true children of God.

I love watching vampire and other horror/gothic movies and unless God comes down himself to tell me its wrong, I'm not changing for anyone. Do I get a few glances from the holier-than-thou's? certainly! But there is nothing wrong with FF or some good glam (don't you love Scissor Sisters and The Darkness?).

I didn't really see a question there but I imagine that fundamentalists can be just as arrogant and horrible and anyone else. I think there belief system is at a basic level... the bible says it, I believe it... but that doesn't make them wrong. They are sincere in their faith and love God, so except for the arrogant horrible ones, they should enjoy eternity with God whom they serve.

I agree with you, generally people with a fundamental belief (christian or otherwise) are unwavering and arrogant. they think that they know what is best for us all. The concept of the divine is so huge! its trying to understand the infinate. So fundamentalist think that they understand God's divine plan. Well, that seems crazy to me.

As a Christian it does to me too yet it is not how the Bible describes heaven. it is how people who're blind to God's be conscious describe it. while you're fairly involved in what heaven would be like, then i decide for to propose which you get a duplicate of the e book titled "Heaven" by utilising Randy Alcorn. it is the main actual e book ever written on the problem in accordance to scripture. you would be surprised at how little you knew approximately heaven.
