yes there is a difference. Pretty boy is one who 'trys' to look good. Goes out of his way to fix his hair and clothes and wants people to notice him. Handsome is just down right gorgeous in whatever he puts on! and I definitely prefer handsome. Pretty boy is fake!

Definetly!!Pretty boys have no humility and very large egos, vain and self-centered, don't leave out narssistic! Handsome fellows are humble men beautiful inside as well as out. I prefer the handsome type. Been there done that.

A pretty-boy is most like a metro-sexual ( when they shave their bodies,pluck their eyebrows and stuff like that)
Handsome is when they got a nice tan along with a nice body,maybe a chiseled chin and a big pearly white smile(kinda like Johnny bravo,but much cuter)
Another thing is a pretty boy wont let anyone touch their face or hair.

Thats easy, with handsome its a natural, classical set of features. Like with Cary Grant or Mel Gibson. But for the pretty boys they go all out like some girls. Having their eye brows waxed, and professionally tanning, even getting high lights touched up at the salon. I know there are the metrosexuals out there, and they are doing it just right. You get your good attributes polished, like nicer clothes and keeping your nails trimmed and cleaned. But not going all out to look like brad pit or the next ken doll. I personally prefer ruggedly sexy. Like if the guy has a five'o clock shadow or at least a lil stubble on his jaw. Its really sexy, but at the same time he is willing to clean himself up in a nice way, but not so that he is out doing me in the looks department.

there is a difference, i don't know if i can explain it. i can give examples of who in my opinion are either of the two
Clive Owen = Handsome
Orlando bloom = pretty boy
older guys tend to be more handsome in my book then younger ones.
handsome is what i would go for. pretty boys, are well too pretty.
handsome seems more rugged.

definately a difference. pretty boys are okay. nice if you trying to feel 12 again. handsome is something else. thats like a grown man. you look at him and think OH YEAH!

pretty denotes an anti-septic quality while handsome... well go look at the covers of some romance novels to see what handsome covers rugged good looking manly man qualities.
