Is life not eternal?If it werent, how would earth exist for 4.6 billion years now despite many ice ages and floods that came by and wiped away almost all life many times over?This is a thought from the scientific viewpoint
There are many ascended masters across religions and across eons who showed us that life is eternal .There is documented evidence for the 'scientific' mind which showed immutability at death for these masters. This is the evidence from the 'spiritual' view point.
Of course ultimately in a human's life time, what one believes in is what is the ultimate truth for that human because everything is relative.This is a planet of "free choice"!
But how does it matter whether it is eternal or not?All true spiritual masters have had only one message - the message of eternal love and peace. By following this, humanity have had only progress. So why not practise something which can spread well being in the tribe we call the 'Earth tribe'?

Because of the fear on the unknown.. Death is the great unknown in human life. Sense we do not know or we can't remember what death was, we fear the end of life as we have known it.. So humans have found a belief in something that we will find a beautiful heavenly (what ever heavenly is) place that our souls as we know them will hopefully go to, at the point in life when we die. Humans do not want to think about the possibility that our souls may go into a void where all souls gather with no light, no heat or cold, no pain, no feelings, no air, no wind, no nothing. Maybe, we will be able to hear and speak. We are going to have to wait for that day that will come for each of us.... These are my personal thoughts on death..

:) have you ever wish that you could be young or live for ever? well probably in heaven. I know for shall we all get old and sick and will eventally die of old age here. Well I do wish I could live forever:)
