Is there any way to regain your enthusiasm for life after a prolonged period of taking drugs? (Of course, after you stop taking drugs)

Yes, it can make your feelings go away, where you don't care about anything. It depends on how long, and how much of the drugs. there is still a good chance to have a happy, normal life

Depends on the drug, the amount taken, the personality of the individual......

Some drugs help artists realize their visions, some rob youth of life. Cafeine helps most of humanity wake up in the morning and prescription drugs give life the world over.

Time. That's the only way. A good support group can go along way. (I should say "support system" it doesn't have to be a group per-se.) And the person will have to come to terms with their addiction and realise that this is a limitation they now have. But, yes, they can return to a relatively healthy, normal life.

Of course there is. It seems harder to do because UNLEARNING a behavior is much harder than learning one(behavior). If this is you good luck. Remember being drug free is a very doable thing(nobody said it would be easy)

No...drug damage to the body, brain, and consequently the mind is irreversible. Your brain is fried ultimately. Sad reality.
