I have two answers, neither of which you will like. The first answer is "It depends on who you ask," and the second answer is the closely related "nobody knows for sure." Last I heard, the Catholic answer to this was that no, but you go to the least bad part of Hell. Others, however, have different opinions, as you have seen from the answers already given. Some will even say that "it depends on what YOU believe." However, that phrase is in itself a belief, and not subject on its face to any more or less credibility than any other belief. In general, baptism probably will not HURT your chances, according to most CHRISTIAN belief systems, although that is only a general statement (the Catholic Church has stated that Mormons, I think, "need to be re-baptised"), and of course, all bets are off once you go outside Christianity.

Baptism is an initiation rite. Baptism by desire is a valid baptism if you really wanted to and legitimately never had the opportunity. That said... yes, you an go to heaven without being baptized... God is a God of Love and Mercy and prefers obedience over sacrifice and ritual:
[1 Sam 15:22] But Samuel said: "Does the LORD so delight in holocausts and sacrifices as in obedience to the command of the LORD? Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission than the fat of rams.

Baptism does not save you, it is an act of obediance and does have spiritual signifigance. But there are times when people don't have a chance to be baptised. If you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart the Jesus is Lord, you shall be saved. Although, my advise would be to get baptised.

No. You can still go to heaven (or hell). The baptism was believed to be necessary before the 19th or 20th century. But that changed.
It is said that god loves everybody and therefore he will let you into heaven even if not baptized.
BUT baptism doesn't hurt. And to become a full member of the church you need to be baptized anyway.
And keep in mind god and the church are two different things.

It depends, if you can be baptised then do it, but if you are unable then God won't not permit you into Heaven. The thief on the cross wasn't baptised. But it is a Christian requirement.

No. Faith in Jesus is sufficient for salvation. You don't have to do anything. Christ has done it all. However, baptism is very important and all believers should be baptized. If you refuse baptism after salvation, I would doubt your conversion.
There are Christian denominations that believe baptism is necessary for salvation. The arguments used, on the surface, seem to be powerful. However, upon examination, baptism is found to occur after conversion, and is not in any way a cause or part of it. Take, for example, Acts 10:44-47. While Peter was witnessing, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who were listening to the message...and they were hearing them speaking in tongues and exalting God. Then Peter answered, "Surely no one can refuse the water for these to be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we did, can he?"
This passage shows that baptism happens after salvation. How do we know they were saved? They were speaking in tongues -- which is a gift from God (1 Cor. 14) to believers and they were exalting God. Non-believers do not exalt God. Also, Peter said they had received the Holy Spirit. That is only for Christians, and it happened before baptism. (Note: speaking in tongues is simply a sign of salvation. It is not necessary that a Christian speak in tongues as a proof of salvation. Not all speak in tongues (1 Cor. 12:30).
Another set of verses applicable to this issue is 1 Cor. 1:17. Paul says, "For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel..." The gospel is what saves, and it is explained in 1 Cor. 15:1-4. Baptism is not part of the gospel; it is something that the believer does after salvation.
Baptism is only a symbol of that which saves, and symbols don't save

In your bible find Romans 10.9-10, 13, because it tells us, that if we believe that Jesus is the Son of God and we believe that he died for our sins and we accept him as our Savior, we are saved. Baptism does not nor in any way get you to heaven. Having said that, baptism is the very next or first step of obedience after accepting Jesus as you Savior. It helps you to be able to move forward with God and to experience more of what God has for you that you can without baptism. I know there are those who disagree, but no where in the Bible does it say you have to be baptised to get saved, rather it says by faith you are saved.

No, its not correct. Baptism only signifies as a testimony to the general public that you are a designated child of God. It has nothing to do with entering heaven or not. Once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, that's it. That is your passport to heaven. You don't need anything else.

Baptised or not, would not make any different. Heaven/Hell is only on earth, nowhere else. What you need is not be judgemental against anybody.
Then you will survived this life.

Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone. (Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 John 1:9) We are commanded to be baptized as a public acknowledgement of our faith, but baptism or lack of it will neither get you into or keep you out of heaven.
