when i was younger (12, 13, 14) a guy used to come up behind me and hold himself to me, and i cud feel his hard on, and he used to kiss me and touch me etc, he never raped me or anything, but he made me touch him and give him oral.. was this sexual assault?

In Alabama, this is how it reads for sexual abuse. I do not know where you are from, and the laws may be different, but for a general guideline, this should help to give you some sort of an idea on the charge itself. If this did happen to you, then you need to speak to your local authorities about it because if it happened to you, then he could be doing it to someone else. It can also fall under the guidelines of sodomy, depending on how your state laws read. I hope you go to the authorities about this happening so as to prevent it from happening to some other child. Good luck in recovering from such an intolerable act.
Section 13A-6-66
Sexual abuse in the first degree.
(a) A person commits the crime of sexual abuse in the first degree if:
(1) He subjects another person to sexual contact by forcible compulsion; or
(2) He subjects another person to sexual contact who is incapable of consent by reason of being physically helpless or mentally incapacitated; or
(3) He, being 16 years old or older, subjects another person to sexual contact who is less than 12 years old.
(b) Sexual abuse in the first degree is a Class C felony.

Yes that is sexual assault....additionally, most states have a reasonable statute of limitations concerning these kinds of things, so if you know where the subject is, you can still turn him in, the Police Department can still investigate....are there other victims out there that you know of? Your allegation against the guy won't necessarily lead to an on-site arrest, it may have to be worked up and handed to the District Attorney's office for prosecution.....but you shouldn't lose faith.

It was clearly sexual, and not only did you say he made you do it, but at such a tender age, you could not be considered to have consented, so it was sexual assault. His age at the time of the assault is a mitigating factor.

Yes, kids go to jail for the behavior you just described. If you said go away or don't touch me or tried to get away it is.

Yes it was a sexual assault if he was your age. If he was an adult then it would be child molestation, sodomy, and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
