A lot of guys I know use to comment girls/chicks among eachother (like, she is cute, nice butt and so on). I don't like expressing my feelings in that way so I prefer to keep comments to myself only.
Is it OK?

always just be your self if asked just say i think they are a nice person and leave it at that

It is ok as long as you understand your reasons for doing it.
If you perceive guys who leave comments like that towards the opposite sex as being total jerks, then don't do the same. It is but natural for us guys to openly express our appreciation for girls/chicks, especially if they're totally "hot."
it doesn't make you less of a person not doing it, but you see, everytime guys do it, it tends to reinforce our manliness, which at times, make me feel like i'm a male chauvinist already....arghhhh!!!
Then again, it's just a comment, and not a nasty remark.
