** if you want to say Holy spirit please first read the whole text

It is mentioned in the book of Isaiah chapter 29 verse 12:
"And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned."
Does it ring a bell???

***********************
OR
1-John chapter 14 verse 16:
"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever."

2-Gospel of John chapter 15 verse 26:
"But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which
proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me"

3-Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 7:
"Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not
come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you".

**Some Christians say that the Comforter mentioned in these prophecies refers to the Holy Sprit. They fail to realise
that the prophecy clearly says that only if Jesus (pbuh) departs will the Comforter come. The Bible states that the
Holy Spirit was already present on earth before and during the time of Jesus (pbuh), in the womb of Elizabeth, and again when Jesus (pbuh) was being baptised, etc.
whereas the Bible says "....for if I go not away, the Comforter will not" so the comforter WILL NOT COME even just temporarily when Jesus is on earth
So according to 3-Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 7, the comforter cant be Holy Spirit .

Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 12-14:
"I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is
come, he will guide you unto all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me".

You are right. The Paraclete (or Holy Spirit, or Comforter) did not arrive until Christ left. It is ultra-clearly stated in the Gospels.

Hello, first thing first, you asked about Isa 29:12 Reading the verses just before and after that verse tells us it is talking about a sealed book which of course was Daniel, Now that comforter God it talking about, its true God's spirit has been here from the first day, but Not to the extent it was poured out in Acts chapter two, because while Jesus was here He the spirit could not come because Jesus had to go to the Father first. In The Bible when the original Santuary was first dedicated by Moses He moses went first into the most holy place and dedicated everything sprinkleing blood on all the fixtures there, activatating it, so when Jesus first went to the Father he activated the service going into the most holy place, "then" the holy spirit was poured out, the holy spirit is the life line to the Father and Jesus Is The Way in which instead of offering a lamb the lamb of God offered Himself as the Way now we come to The Father John 5:39, John 13:19 God in John 16:7 calls The Holy Spirit "HIM" not it, but A person, Matt 28:19-20 tells us He is part of the Godhead, He is our line of talking like a telephone line to the Father, there is much more about this and free bible lessons www.itiswritten.com God bless you in your looking for truth,

If you understand the concept of Trinity, then you must know the fact that the Holy Spirit, one of the Trinity, was there from the beginning of ages. God the Father, God the Son, Jesus and God the Holy Spirit. As to the words of Jesus saying that the Comforter will not come unless I go away, Jesus was mentioning a fact. The Holy Spirit, as a guide, was not present before the times of Jesus. He was not dwelling in persons before Jesus came. After Jesus finished His responsibilities here on earth, He ascended into heaven. On the Pentecost Day, (see Acts Chapter 2) the Holy Spirit was sent to dwell in each person who received Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord. From that time, the Holy Spirit has come into the world to live as the Comforter and Guide that Jesus promised. He indwells those who accept Jesus as Lord and not as one of the prophets.

Yes, I believe that these verses were to inform the followers of Jesus (PBUH) that they should expect and wait for the arrival of the Last Prophet. There were some other verses in the Original Bible, but we know that it has been removes or altered one way or the other.
Then the last Prophet came with the last Message from Allah (God), but many Christians did not know about Him for that reason. Some of those who knew the truth did follow Muhammad (PBUH), and some of them tried to hide the truth.

Act 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Act 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Act 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

It is the Holy Spirit. I don't know how you can't understand that - other than God(the Holy Spirit) hasn't opened your eyes up spiritually yet to be able to understand the truth.

I'm not Christian, I'm rather a Deist. I understand that these verses talk about another prophet, other than "The Holy Spirit". I did read some of the translated Arabic books about Arabian history, and I understand that Prophet Muhammad of Islam said: "I cannot read (or learn)".
So yes, I agree these verses talk about other than Jesus or the holy spirit.

One reason the Holy Spirit isn't spoken of as much as the Father and the Son.

Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.

He doesn't speak of himself.
