If god is perfect...?

Question

then why is he spiteful? in the bible he murders out thousands of people just because they didn't obey him. If he's so powerful, isn't that like punching a two year old in the face for not obeying you?

And, if he's real, why doesn't he smite people, like he supposedly did thousands of years ago, today? What made him stop?

okay, so god, who is perfect, killed thousands of innocent people, just for have gay/premarital sex?

Well, he has a huge ego. You gotta praise God often or he'll get pissed off and start smiting people.

Get the drift man. If you don't follow God and accept Jesus into your heart, you too will die as those in the Old Testament did. And have a look around you - God doesn't need to smite people today. People smite each other. There is a time when Satan will be given free reign on the earth for a season. This will be to test the hearts of mankind at that time. Right now we are in a season where God is obviously testing our faith in Him. I have overcome a terminal cancer in Jesus Holy Name. I was dying in January this year, but decided to read such verses as:
Exo 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
The problem is not God. God is perfect and His Word is truth. The problem is your lack of understanding and faith. I pray the Holy Spirit will open your spiritual eyes and bless you.

Why did he punish people back in time? Because that was what he wanted to do.
Why did he stop? Because that was what he wanted to do.

What ever god does or doesn't has a reason. You don't see it? Well, me neither, but we are not supposed to understand. We are not god and so we CAN NOT understand what he does because we are just no capable to understand a being so wise, mighty and intelligent as god.

Religion is about believing not knowing. If you want to know something ask some simple questions like "1+1". And keep in mind that the answer is only 2 because god wills it.
If there is a god.
And with all science you can#t proof that there is no god. Because god wills it... That's the easy way out, but that's also a believe. You don't have to prove religion. You either believe or you don't.
And only you can find out if there is a god or if there isn't

ok, GOD IS PERFECT. just imagine like these,u build a college, n u r the head of it, then the student that live there,on ur own property,u designed it,u build it, they didnt obey ur rule, didnt obey ur words and they make a fool out of the lecturer u put on charge,will u keep them in ur college or u just kick them out coz they do over ur limit?! god give thosepeople thousandof years to think what the hell they doing but they never want to,so why should God give them anymore time? looking from one side,u can make those conclusion u made up there but think deeply! God smite those people coz He want to replace that group with a group that better than them. and Allah will smite us if world continueosly do what we r doing rite now and will replace with a group that love HIM,obey HIM. In Deuteronomy 18:9 When you are entered into the land that Jehovah your God is giving you, you must not learn to do according to the detestable things of those nations..

If you read on you can see that those nations were Satan worshipers.

He did not stop. He will throw a few fireballs with directed aim soon at the portent of Act 2:17-21.

He is not spiteful! If you recall the bible speaks of him as good and all that other good stuff but I think that he punished people that didn't belive in him because this was his creation and he was angry that no one belived in him and well he learned to live with it. He hasn't smited anyone ever since Noah, now I know you're thinking that he has let wars and other bad stuff happen but that's because he wants us to know and feel what we wanted all along..... freedom from him.

God destroyed many nations for worshiping devils. Or 'other gods'.

Did you know that most sacrificial systems for the pagan gods contained human sacrifices? and they had wild orgies in worship because fertility was what most of the gods were about.

My friend, to enter the kingdom of Heaven we need to be sinless. God has no choice to destroy the wicked, even though he has given them so much time to come to him. In the end he will destroy all wicked people for eternity, so in reality he is still doing it, he will destroy all wicked people in one event. This event will be witnessed by every person who ever lived, and every angel in heaven.

I hope that you are inside the golden city and not on the outside with those that are destroyed.

I don't believe in a faultless diety. :) It has nothing to do with bible scripture though. Why would someone who doesn't believe in the bible use it to talk about why god isn't perfect?

Do you want to be a robot? If no, thanks to God. He is so perfect and He want to give you life. A life to decide anything you want. He can make you doing what he like. But sorry, the life is not that way.
