I have a good credit history.. but it is very limited because I'm only 22. Does anyone know if GMAC would approve a lease on an H3 for me? I can afford the payment, it is just a matter of getting approved. Has anyone else been approved through GMAC with limited credit?

The question isn't whether or not I can afford the payment or whether or not I can afford the gas.. I can, and I want this car. Please don't lecture me on my choice of car... But if you have an answer to the actual question, that would be great.

Please reconsider leasing that beastie. You're going to take a bath financially on that. Resale value is an unknown on new models and will be set very low on a lease to protect the lessor; that will result in relatively high lease payments. And at 14 MPG it's going to cost you a fortune to keep it running. Add in a terrible reliability record for the brand and you're setting yourself up for financial disaster.

Addendum:

If you want an answer to that question, you're going to have to apply for the lease. Nobody on Y! can give you an answer to it. We're not leasing agents, don't have access to your credit report, or an application from you in front of us.

Every applicant is different. The only way that YOU can find out if YOU can qualify is for YOU to apply for the lease!

25 for most leases, Insurance will kill you. Why lease...because you can't afford it otherwise. I don't care what kind of tank you want to drive but Geez man after you drive it for 3 - 4 years you still owe a butt load of money if you want to buy it and if you want out of the lease you might as well start selling blood platelets as the dealer will drain the rest of your blood.....Leases are for folks who park the cars in the garage and drive them limited miles can you keep the beast under 12K a year I doubt it. no one else can and then they stick you with high mileage charges that will take a leg or an arm....Leasing is for people who don't know how to save.

I agree with Boston, you will have to apply and let the finance manager or GMAC make the call.
