Reason for the question is, my girlfriend is indian, I am white, and i seem to get a lot of flack for going out with her...who is in the wrong??? me or the people persecuting???

dont let anyone tell you that being with the person you honestly & truly love is wrong, because its not. if it feels right, how can it be wrong? i admire you. if you honestly love them then it shouldnt matter what ethnic group there in, what color there skin is, what gender the person is you love, you should be with them.

Those who persecute you are the culprits. If you and your girlfriend are happy with each other regardless of the racial difference, then others need to back off. Multi-racial relationships are becoming more common and people are just going to have to get over themselves and accept it. Good luck in your relationship!

Are you getting flack from people you see around you when your in public, or people that you personally know?
Maybe relatives are just a little narrow minded? Do they specifically say stuff because she's Indian?
Are you guys too young to be going out?
Just curious.
But it really shouldn't matter what ethnicity you are, you just need to make decisions that are good for you.
My family is not really color blind when it comes to issues like this, but I let them know who's in charge.

Actually if you and your gf truely love each other then you are definetly not in the wrong people always judge things they do not believe to be right. That does not make them right. They may not like it but that does not give them the right to say its not right. If you and your gf are all right with it and your families are alright with then forget what the rest of the world thinks and do what makes the two of you happy. Because if your love for each other is strong you will over come everything. I know alot of times it is because people are old fashioned and they think that one should marry thier own but you know that has changed and people follow thier heart instead of thier race and that is how I think it should be

as a white girl with a Mexican i say that there is nothing at all ethically wrong ( i have always dated outside my heritage) but i will say there are many times i feel like an outsider and i come form a screwed up family barely talk to my mom who lives 3 minutes away and yet they are sooooo tight i feel like the new girl who say at the popular kids table in school and i have been with him 5 years!

An interracial relationship is good (ethically) and shows that you are part of an enlightened group of people that appreciates people for who they are, not just because they are like you. People that object to you for dating outside of your race are letting their ignorance show. Don't let their small minds hold you back from being with the one you care for.

i do not think there is anything wrong with that. perhaps it is becoz i come fr a mutli-racial society. there r always narrow-minded n ignorant pple in tis world, sadly.

the people. tell them where to go stick it and you be happy with her. im black and indian. my ex husband is black and german. my other ex is puerto rican. so my kids are mixed and i dare anyone to say anything about it. my kids are very beautiful. because of the mixture of race we look like we are from another country but who cares. its loving people whats more important. so tell those jackasses to go suck on a spoiled egg and fart it out then smell their own bullshit.
