I met a girl 4 years ago I think. I believed her to be my soul mate. We fell madly in love... after a year and half things became rocky and she parted from me. I got over her. Recently she came back into my life and the feelings were the same and mutual. To my suprise she was still hung up on me. I didn't even want to be with her anymore. It's like we are drawn together beyond words. And when we both admit to it, it's an amazing calmness... but we are both very mixed up individuals, and it could never work due to the circumstances. I know how to get over her. But how do you stop those unstopable feelings. She wants to be my friend by staying in contact over the internet. ... but we are having a hard time ...its been 2 years too. Am I doing the right thing to not talk to her? If we can't seem to beat our feelings for each other, I see no other option than permenant ... removal of each other from our lives.

Why don't you just get married, have kids, and live happily ever after. You can try to run, but you will never get far from yourself. Send her a ring, and be finally done with this whole thing once and for all.

well, the problem relating to man&woman's heart is always tough. it's good tht you are sure you want to get over her...because...sometimes it causes uncertainty whether to just let go or to keep hanging on the line.and this uncertainty may give worse effect to your life.
one thing you can do is to make it is clear between both of you. she wants friendship..n if it hurts you, you should tell her. but say it in gentle way, she's sad enough not to have u again so dont give more pain to her by ur careless word in explaining this matter

SEVER ALL TIES AND MOVE ON. FORGIVE HER FOR NOT BEING WHAT YOU NEEED. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN FEELINGS. YOU ARE INFATUATED WITH WHAT YOUR IMAGINATION WANTS, BUT IT IS NOT REALITY OR TRUE LOVE. QUIT OBSESSING OVER HER AND DROP OFF THE BAGGAGE. KEEPING IT IS JUST LIKE PICKING UP POOP AND PUTTING IT IN YOUR POCKET. IT STARTS TO BECOME NOTICABLE AND OTHERS BEGIN TO AVOID YOU. OLD BAGGAGE CONTAMINATES FUTURE RELATIONSHIPS, TOO, SO LEAVE IT BEHINS YOU. LOOK FOR THE WISDOM IN THIS SITUATION. YOU ARE DRAWN TOGETHER NOT OUT OF "BEYOND WORDS" BUT BECAUSE YOU ARE FAMILIAR AND FEAR THE REJECTION OF OTHERS. YOUR IMAGINATION FILLS IN THE DETAILS OF WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN APART AND THEN HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF.

MOVE ON. GET A NEW GIRL. PICK SOMEONE SO COOL YOU WILL WANT TO SHOW HER OFF AND BRAG TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS....

You are doing the right thing, keep out of each other's lives since you know clearly yourself that it doesn't work between you two. You've got a good head on your shoulders, I wish you the best.

If it is true love , distance, time, nothing can distroy it. You are lucky enough to have had it, some people never experience true love in there lifetime. Time heals all wounds if there is no one else that comes close to her I would reconsider your relationship, who knows maybe you both have matured , ect. I would give it one more try.

WELL DAVE LET ME SAY THIS, IF WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS REALLY TRUE LOVE..THEN YOU MUST KNOW THAT TRUE LOVE NEVER DIES OR GOES AWAY, YOU JUST HAVE TO FIND AWAY TO DEAL WITH YOU FEELINGS B/C WHAT YOU BOTH HAVE IS ONE THING MOST OF US NEVER FIND IN OUR LIFETIMES AND YOU BOTH HAVE BEEN BLESSED TO HAVE FOUND IT IN EACH OTHER, BUT REALLY SORRY TO HEAR YOU CAN'T BE TOGETHER, I WISH YOU ALL THE LUCK AND BEST OF WISHES.
