Girls are more talkative than boys because in nature they have two mouths. The upper mouth and the lower mouth. The upper mouth is in the face while the lower mouth is "you know where it is"... ehem. The upper mouth behaves normal while the lower mouth doesn't.The lower mouth can't talk, can't smile or laugh, but it can chew.
Boys can understand why girls are this way because they have two heads. The upper head and the lower head. The upper head looks normal but the lower head is not. The upper head can think while the lower head can't. The lower head is very small compare it to the upper head but it has a long neck. It will just react to situation, when it does, better watch out. It will stand up proudly and takes control . The person can help it but listen to what the lower head tells him to. It is now the one encharge.

Although, your answer is ridiculous and off-track so, you really do need an answer.
One answer to why girls are more talkative than boys is because females have a thicker corpus callosum; therefore, more information travels between the two halves of the brain. Females get information faster and in greater amounts, so they have more to say.

well you gave the precise answer , one more thing to add ;
they do not forget the details easily and tell each other every possible nonsense things ( or to their poor husbands ) at the end of the day..
for ex: a wife tells her lunch to her hubby ..;
We went to a restaurant for meal, I ordered spagetti , Sue ordered rice , Sarah ordered salad , Mary ordered pizza, Elisabeth ordered stake ..
After then the waiter delivered the orders put he forgot to put olive oil to Sarah's Salad and my spagetti was without a sause, omg, we were so upset and sent the orders back, the waiter was a very bad one who had dirty collar and shoes, yet he had a moustache..
