They pee on the boundaries of their territory, or on scent "posts" kind of like their mail system, where everyone leaves their scent to tell others they've been there. Glands in their hindquarters create their signature scents letting other dogs know their size, gender, and dominance.

they do it kida of the same way like we do !!
they also settle a meeting in a place which is nearer to everybody!!
arrangements are done like we humans need water on our table ,,they keep bones fr each one!!
then the head (with the longest territory)comes and all the new representatives ask fr their territory!!
proper map work is done on the ground sice they dont hv papers!!
and then they are said to mark their territories by wetting the elecricity poles situated in the corners of their territory!!
dont ask with what!!
i think u know that!!
and after that they live happily everafter!!
and if someone tries to enter they BARK!!
they r probably saying that- "Hey you peice of **** go away from here and come in the next meeting . its on so and so date!!
go away or i wil piss u off like u hv hd never before!!

They urinate to create scent in a certain spot, since their sense of smell is extremely strong they can detect it longe periods after they've left it.

When he starts lifing his leg when he pee. Pee in a small amount and in many different spot.
