How about: Stern, Powers, Thor, Stone, Rock, Irons, Flint, many German names also sound strong.

I always wanted to name my next son John Braxton...I always thought if he became a big time exec they could call him JB or a football player they could him Brax. But you could name a boy Braxton Harris...Harris denotes "Hairy"...which is very manly. But Braxton Steele would not do because they might call him BS...lol I just think the name of my Uncle Braxton just is such an Authoritative strong name that gives the impression of Brackets, Bolts, etc. But also the name Bolton. is a strong sounding name.
