What was the cause of the Post Traumatic Stress? This could be the cause or the trigger of the problems you are currently experiencing. I agree with DrSH in that professional help might give you the breakthrough that you seek. You trust your family members, so why do you think they would poison you? Does weirdness and schizophrenia really go together and would you recognise the condition if you had it? It would be helpful to see you GP (General Practioner)for an evaluation of your symptoms. There is no shame in seeing a therepist NOT a psychiatrist.

It okay, take a deep breath. I feel this way too sometimes, stressed with anxiety problems. I listen to music and read books or talk to someone about it and it really helps. Try some therapy, take a warm bath with aromatherapy, it will make you feel so much better. Watch some movies, talk to a family member. It's okay to have social anxiety problems, but you need to try to improve. About the obsession with germs and trust, think again...will your own family members really poison you? this world is full of germs, whatever you do can't always get rid of everything. Take a nap, go shopping, go to the beach and relax! Good luck.

There are many medical (not psychiatric) reasons that could cause this. You should go to a competent medical doctor and get a blood test to see if you have a vitamin deficiency, a lack of certain amino acids, or a hormonal imbalance. All can cause you to have problems such as those you're experiencing. You can find a good doctor here: http://www.alternativementalhealth.com

Just be sure you don't go to a psychiatrist. They're quacks and their theories are unproven. They do no tests. They just label people and prescribe dangerous drugs. Learn the truth about psychiatry here: http://www.cchr.org It's a Human Rights group that works for psychiatric reform.

I think everyone goes through some of these types of thoughts, some more than others, but if you feel like it is consuming your life where your daily activities are affected, than maybe you should try to seek some perfessional help. Seeing a shrink isn't the worst thing in the world. It might just help you,

I'm not sure if you have just read too many medical books bless you. As long as you are not seeing or hearing things that are not there then you are not schizophrenic you are depressed. If you have been diagnosed as suffering from ptsd then you need to go back to the professional who diagnosed you and tell them your current symptoms so they can prescribe you the correct meds for your symptoms.

You're undergoing various problems in your mind and all the symptoms that you are describing e.g paranoia, phobia etc. need to be dealt with a professional. Please don't pass up on the opportunity of getting real help, you would be doing yourself a big favour before things get really out of hand.

See your medical doctor. Rule out any physical conditions that may cause these obsessions. Then, make the next step. One step at a time, baby, and one day at a time.
Go with God and live well.
