My ex boyfriend ( who I am still really close with but not living near b/c I moved away for college) recently confessed his love and passion for me and stayed on the phone with me for 3 hours saying that he loves me and wants to be with me but we are both living seperate lives. What is he thinking for the future? If he loves me so much why doesnt he want to be with me? Can some men just really not handle long distance relationships? He is also seven years older (I am 20 and he is 27)..could he be waiting until I turn 27? I neeed advice b/c I love him so much..want to know what he is thinking..I never act like I love him still and play games..saying that I am out partying etc...guys i need you advice/? What is my ex-boyfriend thinking and should I show my feelings?

Here are some ideas ive come up with because i will be flying soon as well, 1. SLEEP (sleeping pills work) 2. Music player such as ipod or mp3 player 3. Read a magazine or book 4play with playdough ( before you leave on your flight make a list of rabdom things, the.pn try to create the with playdough) 5. Brush your hair ( whenever i get bored i alway brish my hair or try new hair styles) 6. If you flying with someone play games like flash 7. Bring cards 8. Try to remember every thing that you packed (make a list) 9. Play any game on yoir phone or ipod 10. Bring paper and try to do origami 11. Start a journal or auto biography 12. bring colored pens or markers and tatto yourself 13. Print out logic puzzels 14. Try to make upa secret code 15. Tell people you are older than you really are 16. Draw or scetch 17. Try to count to 1000 18. Try to write your name using 25 different fonts 19. Think about stuff 20. Come up with your top 50 baby names

Guys like that, especially that old are disperate for validation and they fear being alone.
I found out that when I loved like that, it was all about insecurity and not a well balanced relationship. When I loved healthy, and I was away from my bf I missed him, but not like I needed him to surrive. I was strong enough to be on my own, and better when I got back in town with him.
Obcessive love isn't love, it is being so needy that there is begging and long phone calls.
Age 20 and 27 is a huge gap at your age. Once you are older the age gap won't be so wide.
Sit back and imagine 25 years from now and you have been married a long time and you leave town to visit family and you get those long insecure phone calls from him, worried that you are out with guys and not with him. It will be soooooooo tiresome.
Give some time and distance between you guys. If your love is strong and he can stand on his own, then you might have a future.
It isn't good to depend on other people for our security and happiness. We are strong and those we love add it and enrich our lives and bring us additional happiness.

He's just lonely and uses you as an outlet to fulfill an emotional emptiness. Sorry if it's harsh, but it's the truth.

He is either telling the truth, because he misses u soo much. or he was cheating on you, his person he was cheating on dumped him, and is now bac 2 u. or he is cheating on u and thinks that u know about it.
