I have a 13 yr old a seven year old n a 6 year old.Pls give me some fun suggestions. They r not interested at ALL.PLEASE HELP.

Uh Parent, they don't have to be interested they just have to do it....Remember you are the Parent...What are they doing instead...YANK IT! video games, TV No Way Jose, not until homework is done...2 parents... back each other up. The kids have to do their studies and a week or two of sittin at the table starin at each other with you or other parent right there supervising...this will get their attention. Concentrate on the 13 year old the others should follow. I tell you again video games TV and even toys are a distraction. If they don't do their studies they don't get them... Hang in there You are the Parent...Remember that you make the rules.. I have 2 kids and do this nightly they now my limits and don't approach them often....

When I was homeschooled in my 7th grade year my mom took me to places that helped with my studies. There are a lot of like humane Imax's and such. Check on things like that. They have a lot of 3-d ones too that are awsome!
Check into certain movies that have some history in them. You brake the movie up into like 3 or 4 days so that keeps them intersted in the movie and the study for a few days.

Try to follow their interests. For example, if they are interested in space, you can get space books and movies, or go to the planetarium. Take them to places that are fun but educational like the zoo, game farms, botanical gardens... even local parks sometimes have free programs that teach about local wildlife and plants.

Show them the difference between a college educated person (with a real degee) and one that only has a high school diploma.

You can't MAKE someone do anything. They have to find interest in the subject themselves or all efforts will fail. Ask them what their interests are.

im 12 i hate studiein but sylvan learning center helped me why don't u try
