Because on msn my daughther recieves unwanted mail

What you can do is set the Emails account filter to only let in the emails from known people, that is how mine is set up so that I will only recive email from the addresses I specify. It's very simple on Hotmail Just click on Options and Filter Settings and put it on the highest setting possible and it will prompt you to enter the "safe" addys. I'm happy to read that there are other parents out there who monitor what there child does on the internet rather than banning such a useful and educational tool!

As far as I know there is nothing that specifies certain ages. If there was, some weird person would find a way to send inappropriate emails. Have you child be very careful who she gives her email address to. Even if she enters it on an innocent site, she will still get junk email.
I am glad you are one of the parents who watches their child's computer activities. I think the only thing to do is just what you have been doing by monitoring it for her.
