Intermarriage was never "wrong" until the law was given by Moses. Adam and Eve were genetically perfect so there was no risk of their offspring being genetically weak. However, over time, as genetic weaknesses became more pronounced through intermarriage, it became necessary to prevent them by the institution of law.

The bible is not a text book relating facts...like some self made preachers pretend! Before U believe U have to use ur intelligence...also given by god for a purpose!... If U didnt study seriously and unbiased history, geography and linguistic at least U shouldnt pretend to know the bible and for sure not preach. What about most of our preachers! It is easy to find serious one who can explain scientificaly what is written in the bible. Then U can believe..if this gift is given to U.

Not only is that incest, something that the bible denounces, but it would also lead to inbreeding... After a few generations, they would be too retarded to even know how to breed, and the species would die out...
Even today, with professional care, a species with under 20 individuals is usually doomed anyway...

Adam and Eve were perfect humans. Probably about 15-17 foot tall.
Why do you think their children lived for 900+ years? and their childrens children for 600? etc
Regardless if you believe the Bible or Evolution, we started from incest...
God didn't stop incest untill a long time after, because there started to be a problem of the risk of genetic disease if they did.
Did you know the royal family commited LOTS and LOTS of incest.

How come you are so wrong about the Bible?
Adam and Eve had two boys, Cain and Abel. Cain killed his brother in the fields. It continued from here...
Genesis 4
16 So Cain went out from the LORD's presence and lived in the land of Nod, [f] east of Eden.
17 Cain lay with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Cain was then building a city, and he named it after his son Enoch. 18 To Enoch was born Irad, and Irad was the father of Mehujael, and Mehujael was the father of Methushael, and Methushael was the father of Lamech.
19 Lamech married two women, one named Adah and the other Zillah. 20 Adah gave birth to Jabal; he was the father of those who live in tents and raise livestock. 21 His brother's name was Jubal; he was the father of all who play the harp and flute. 22 Zillah also had a son, Tubal-Cain, who forged all kinds of tools out of [g] bronze and iron. Tubal-Cain's sister was Naamah.
No need to bash the entire creation of the world, unless you are on your way out.

There is nothing wrong with the Bible nor the people who believe in it. You can't apply today's laws and standards to a way of life that existed thousands of years ago.
And just because you don't agree with something, that doesn't make it "wrong."

I think the real problem is that you haven't actually taken time to read Genesis. Obviously. It says Cane went to Caanan and met his wife, and married her and had children. Other people existed in other lands. Think before you claim to know what you're saying - just a suggestion.

God declared incest a sin because as genetics changed in the family it caused birth defects, mutations, and retardation so to preserve humanity it became sin (just an Idea based of of biological research)
What's wrong with the people who believe we are insignificant, purposeless, accidents who came about by spontaneity and random chance due to some "big bang" or big lie
What's wrong with the people who believe we came from single celled organismic blobs and apes........
Who can't find missing links because they never existed......
who can't find the necessary millions of transitional being skeletons from ape to man, that Darwin said is the only way to truly prove evolution, yet they still believe it as truth
Evolution=
man made theories and lies of the devil

first of all, if you really read the Bible you'll realize that the story of Adam & Eve in the Garden of Eden is not talking about two specific people but the first people in general. if you go on to read the book of Genesis, it tells you that Cain, son of Adam and Eve, married someone from the city of Nod. further more, the book of Romans explains that the Adam that was spoken of in the book of Genesis was referred as 'Adama' meaning first men.
before you go on criticizing it would be best to get your stories straight.

Isn't the creation of the human race vital to everything in the Bible. Where would christianity be if there were no humans to follow it? Lets face the facts; nothing in the Bible can be proven by any other source of documentation. I would say that this is a great question, and it would not have been possilbe for humanity to start in this way.
