It feels like my baby is trying to push out. I have no bleeding or anything. But I do get cramps once in awhile. But the pain is unbarrable. Can anyone tell me whats going on. It doesnt feel like Braxton contractions either.

When I was pregnant with my girls both times in my last trimester occasionally I would have these horrible pains that absolutely made me catch my breath and my doctor told me they were caused by my ligaments that support my uterus stretching to support the baby. And The weight of the baby on my pelvic region was causing pain. So it wasn't anything bad, just normal pregnancy discomfort. But you really need to see your doctor because everyone is different. Best of luck with motherhood!

I am not sure what this could be. Are the cramps coming and going even if not in a patten. the next time you get a cramp feel your tummy is the tummy feeling hard with each cramp. if so you could be going into early labour. Go and see a Dr if your concerned or the hospital even a Gp will be able to be more of a help. maybe the baby is just getting lower. Is this your first baby. I can not remember how long it is but first baby's drop what that means is the baby will start to move down. you will notice that the space between your ribs now have a gap again.

I'm not sure, but it seems to me that I have the same problem (34 weeks). I had my appointment today, but my OB didn't tell me what is causing the problem. instead, she said I will be induced into labour after 36 weeks any time if it doesn't start itself. I'm frustrated and thinking - could it be related to this pain?

I'm not scaring u - ur case may be absolutely different. I have a very low uterus and short cervix - urs may be normal...

My sisiter in law had this same problem when she was 24 weeks along and the doctor said it was indeed Braxton HIcks. But she was very dehydrated. Have you been drinking enough fluids? Please go see your doctor to get checked out. Even if it turns out to be nothing serious, at least you will have peace of mind in getting checked out. Good luck!

i just got done going through this myself....i was tod that it was the baby settling down into the pelvic bone. i went through thid beginning at 32 weeks and it got worse until i delivered on my own at 37 exactly. it got to the point where i could barely walk and lift my leg to drive. I wish i could offer some advice, but i didnt find anything that helped eleviate the pain. best of luck to you and the little one.
